  1. With all the bricked 1900pro devices and a sad discussion with the support person I doubt I would ever buy a MyGica again. Calling this firmware a beta just get them out of trouble having to potentially replace our bricked units. OF COURSE people are going to try to upgrade their device. But when a good portion of them get bricked no matter that they followed the instructions to the letter and MyGica just shrugs and says "hey its a beta, and its an old device, that's the risk, not our problem". How about releasing firmware that doesn't brick an otherwise decent but overpriced android box? Or even a fix for the ones that did get bricked? Fix YOUR mistake! Zero QA on this firmware and I am out $140 CAD the thing was just over a year old. Too bad it had to end this way.
  2. I'd sure like to find out from the support team how this issue will be resolved. I've owned my 1900Pro for only about a year and now its a paperweight. I've looked into the AMLogic Flash tool, countless youtube videos and finally USB Burning tool. All of which requires an actual ROM to flash it back to life. Which for the life of me cannot find anywhere. So I am not even sure the USB Burning tool would work as there doesn't seem to be a defined USB port for flashing. None of the SD card updates (or backdates for that matter) work, I've spent probably a week worth of time trying to resolve this. Is it possible to send it to get it fixed? I posted 3 weeks ago and nothing.
  3. What is the deal with the 1900 Pro boxes in Canada? As with a few posts above, I too attempted the update and bricked it. If there are any solution or suggestions please post. I've tried hard reset and only get a blank screen and the green "on" light. I'd like to get it working again.
