  1. Justin, Any update on when we can expect a fix for this black screen issues? It has been almost a month since the last firmware was released and we have no update on whether this will be fixed on the next version. Do you want me to record some videos on how it happens. I can replicate the issue different ways. Even just by switching source on my TV. This is very annoying and I'm only sticking with this firmware because it fixes the issues with the internal player on some apps and it fully supports the RK301 remote.
  2. Samsung UN55HU9000FXZA I found that if you leave an app open. Say YouTube, most of the time you can switch source and come back and the screen will refresh fine. However just at the Home Screen with nothing running, if it goes to sleep. The issue will be there or simply by just switching source, the black screen will be there. Saying no signal I came from the Feb beta firmware. I did a clean install, wiping all settings and resetting. I then went back to 2014 official firmware and this issue is not there for me. But after upgrading to the March Firmware again, the issue is there. Every time wiping all settings and resetting everything before the upgrade. BTW this issue was not there in the Feb beta firmware for me either. Also I do have an issue with the Play Store not loading my currently installed apps.
  3. I get the same thing. When the device goes into standby it will not activate the video when switched to it's input. Only work around I have found is to reboot the MyGica by disconnecting then reconnecting the power cord . Justin, This will have to be looked into. The best workaround for now is to do this. Hold the power button for 3 seconds or so. That should bring the menu to put the box in standby or to reboot. Then press down 2-3 times to make sure that reboot is selected and then press OK That will reboot the box even though you can't see anything. After rebooting it should be fine. Again this happens if you set the video to 1080p 60hz. Justin I really hope a fix comes out soon for this.
  4. The problem is there but most people seem to leave the video setting at 720p so they haven't even noticed the issue
  5. And how exactly do you run anything when you have no video? Does that app allow you to map the reboot command to a button, because I can't see that option?
  6. Is there anyway to map a button on the control to reboot the box? I have found that a reboot will fix the 1080p 60hz issue with no video. At least we could use this as a workaround till this is fixed. I went back to the 2014 firmware and 1080p 60hz works perfect there. On the March 31st 2015 firmware it gives no video. But if you reboot the box, it will boot in 1080p mode just fine and will work fine till you change source on the TV again. If there was a way to map a key for a reboot, this could be used as a workaround for now.
  7. Anyone else having issues with No video if you set the resolution to 1080p? Maybe I need to reload the firmware again. Am I the only one? My Video gets picked up as 720P by default if I choose auto detect and if I change it to 1080P, I get no video, like if the cable is not plugged it. If I unplug and reconnect the HDMI cable it works until I change source and go back to the ATV 1800e, then I have no video again. It was working fine on 1080P on the Feb beta firmware
  8. Using a 1800e. Updated to the latest version from the Feb Beta Firmware. Wiped all data/reset before the update and it installed fine from USB. However I have noticed something. On My Sansung 55" HU9000, if I set the video to auto detect, it detects it as 720p 60hz, the previous beta would detect it properly at 1080p 60hz. If I set 1080p 60hz manually sometimes I lose the video. Sometimes I need to put the unit to sleep and turn it on again and video will come back. Also none of the 4K resolutions work for me. I'm not sure if I need a better HDMI cable. I do get no signal, same thing I get sometimes at 1080p. My TV is 4K of course. I'm glad the internal player is working though. This is good for apps like the YouTube Kids app that can't use an external player.
