  1. ZXL who manages this part of the forum will respond shortly Thanks Justin
  2. Their are still issues trying to get this running on 1GB of Ram. I am trying this myself with someone else early next week, to see if we can use less Ram to function. I will report back on this later next week
  3. There is a MyGica office in Australia http://mygica.com.au/ You can contact them to see if they can assist in this Tell them, Justin sent you
  4. If you live in Canada, our office is here You can always send it to us to have 5.1 installed
  5. Which remote control are you using?
  6. I found out we do not support the USB Burning tool from Amlogic I will see if another method is available
  7. You can upgrade in Recovery mode using the same files as you would in the Android OS This is actually one of the only ways that I upgrade all of my units, unless a bootcard is needed.
  8. This is just the Firmware upgrade I think our moderator "zxl" assisted you with this on another thread.
  9. I have locked this thread You can find the updated Firmware which fixes a lot of the issues listed in this thread by going here Thanks Justin
  10. We have a new one that does not require 2 files You can find it here
  11. I also have a 1800 model from 2014 which I was able to install 5.1 onto without issues. You can also try and use the Amlogic burning tool with a ADB Serial to USB cable If you are familiar with this though, as it is for more advanced users.
  12. Hi Sorry but Android 4.2 is over 5 years old, and we can no longer support it. I appreciate the comments If you want, please PM me. I will try to figure out something for you.
  13. Which model # are you using? May I know when and where you purchased it from?
  14. We were finally able to reproduce this issue, and are working to fix it. I do not have a date yet for a Firmware update, but will keep you posted.
  15. The 5.1 SDK that was provided to us from Amlogic is Beta, and that is why our Firmware is Beta. The 5.1 SDK is from 2015 and was never updated by Amlogic, so that is why our firmware will remain Beta as it is not perfect.
  16. Wifi coming out of standby we are testing a fix for it now. Once ready, we will release it. Netflix we currently cannot reproduce it, so will continue to try. And we haven't stopped support, we have just stopped it at Android 5.1 since we cannot go to a newer Android version since its not possible.
  17. Then the clicking sound must have only been deactivated on a Factory Reset I don't have a date right now on the root patch But once available it will be in the downloads section under Root Patches.
  18. Ok thanks for the feedback Sorry I thought you meant it was coming on even when set to Never, I did not read your past comments before writing my last post. I will try that here and see what happens. And we are just making a non root FW version with a Root Patch. I will post it in the downloads section once I have a working version.
  19. If you are referring to 586 Android 5.1 Firmware with DTV Player I do not know at this time.
  20. I am running the Wipe Data version on an 1800E and 1900AC We actually just deleted that sound all together, so it is not working anymore. Also, I ran a Live TV channel on Kodi for 3 Hours and there was no screensaver that appeared. Make sure your screensaver/daydream setting is set to "Never" As for the Root Patch file, we have one but it has been reported not to work properly so we are trying to fix it now,
  21. If you are referring to the patch file to fix the wifi issue coming out of standby Then yes. If it is the Firmware update we released last month for most of our older models to run Android 5.1 Then no, not at this time.
  22. Sorry about this I have had it for awhile, and forgot to post it up in the downloads section You can find a link for it below. FW: update_MYGICA_S812_S802_Device_5.1_no_format_data_20170616.img https://mega.nz/#!fZMw2ISa!RFVnO5tff8JSf9vGnh4zzvlRsfIkkT14kJg3sxpCA9Y
