  1. The factory restore files are if you want to use the bootcard method. The 2nd link you posted is if users want to upgrade using the UPGRADE APP Both options will install the same software. We are working on a new KODI 17.1 Fork, right now only 17.0 is available.
  2. 1. Graphics problem? Please explain 2. Power/Paint Brush option being compatible with alternate launchers is not really possible, as the actual launcher developer adds it to their launcher, as we did for ours for example. Or you could always look into an Android Widget with some of these features for other Launchers like Nova or C Launcher. 3. Where did you get this screensaver option? 4. In settings, under Preferences Column. Go to More Setting, then Sound & Notification, then Other Sounds. You will see option to turn touch sound on/off 5. There are only 2 settings menus. The one "Other Settings" is more advanced settings, we cant really merge these 2 together, as one of them is apart of the entire Android OS.
  3. The update is as follows. At first we thought it was wide spread on 1900AC and 1800E, but now after spending a lot of time on this, it is mainly only the 1800E. The issue we are having is the 1800E uses a different chipset then the 1900AC and also a different PCBA Layout, including the power layout. This is basically what is causing the issue, we had something similar on the 1900 PRO and 495 PRO, but were able to fix it. However, the 1800E chipset is very similar to the one in the 1900AC that is why 5.1 works, but just has a standby issue. We are trying to figure out how to fix the power issue without affecting the 1900AC at the same time. I realize this is obviously a problem, as electronics should turn on/off without issue, and I am not ignoring it at all and I have never been silent on the issue either. So that is the current update for now. P.S. - I know this is not normally what people do with electronics, but you can just leave the box on 24/7, and do the occasional reboot. Personally I haven't turned off my box in about 6 months, I just do reboots from time to time. This will temporarily solve the standby issue for now.
  4. Little confused with this post As there is tons of posts from people saying it is working So I am very confused when you are saying, it is not working, messes up your box and just tons of confusion? Besides the standby issue on 1800e and mac address issue, what is not working about it?
  5. Latest 4.4 Firmware for the 582/380/1800 can be found here
  6. Only update we are trying to come out with is to fix standby issue and mac address changing After this I do not think we will have anymore updates.
  7. SPMC and KODI 17.1 can both be installed and run as separate apps
  8. xbian and openelec are linux based, so would explain why no issues for you there. I was only referring to passthrough issues on the Android version of Kodi. And I do not have an update for mac address changing right now.
  9. Ive read Kodi 17 having lots of Passthrough issues Have you tried SPMC http://spmc.semperpax.com/ I hear SPMC works great with Passthrough.
  10. Thanks for reporting this.
  11. Can anyone using 5.1 on the 1900AC report they are having the standby issue?
  12. reading through the entire thread, I really only see issues being reported on 1800e and not 1900ac. Can anyone confirm standby issue on 1900ac?
  13. Yes it works on both boxes But I am trying to figure out this standby issue through pm, and I am only getting ppl using 1800e pm me with standby issues, not 1900ac
  14. Please PM me then So far only 1800e users have pm me. I need 1900ac users with standby issue, not 1800e
  15. Anyone using 1900AC with standby problem, and you live within Ontario, Canada Please PM me I will delete my post after the first 3 people msg me.
  16. You will have to use the Factory restore files then to restore your box
  17. You are supposed to just extract the 7 files and place them onto the root of an SD card if you want to use it as a boot card file Or you can just extract the update_MyGica_s905_wv_5.1_20170120 .IMG file onto the root of an SD card or USB to install it from the UPGRADE app. This is mentioned in step #1 If the files do not appear within Local Update. Then you can try pressing the 3 lined menu button on the remote 10+ times
  18. That is an older firmware Please use this one
  19. Not sure what you mean by, hangs box can not do anything to draw power??
  20. Please explain how the instructions are wrong and misleading??
  21. The remote control you are using, it requires a USB dongle?
  22. When did you purchase this? It sounds like you have a few hardware issues with your box.
  23. You need Win RAR to open these files. If you are still not sure, you can wait till end of the week, we will be sending this update straight to the box via OTA.
  24. Put onto SD card and then plug into box Open up Upgrade app on box, and select Local Update If the update does not appear, then press the 3 lined menu button 10+ times it should then appear. Once you see the update, click on it and you can press OK to install it.
