  1. Hey Justin, not sure if this is an issue with the box but I get kicked out of kodi every one in a while. Any info on that?
  2. I had to revert to the Lollipop version 5.02 (don't know the firmware version) because performance was so bad. 5.02 had all cores enabled to performance which was better. Now that I'm on this newer version performance is up to where I expected it to be (except for the choppy boot)
  3. So far the 1900AC hasn't exhibited any issues other than choppy boot up. It is way faster than before. It's very noticeable. I'll let you know if the on/off issues still exist.
  4. Totally agree. I thought this was isolated to the 1900AC? It's not?
  5. For the record I have just chucked a 520e in the bin but I still currently have a 380 a 582 and the 1900AC.
  6. With all due respect, the time you spent on these updates IS TO FIX THE PROBLEMS THAT ORIGINALLY CAME WITH THE PRODUCT. These updates were not to benefit us such as additional new features but to fix issues in a shipping product. There is NO way that this product should have been shipped with all these outstanding issues (mac address, slow rendering, on/off, volume control etc) just to name a few. Where was the quality control? If there was a car with faulty brakes, and they could reproduce it in the same model car what do you think would be the end result? It's called a RECALL. Something that MyGica should've done. Offer to fix the issue and not complain about time spent trying to fix the issue, replace the unit with a working one free of defect or reimburse the customer. I appreciate the time spent on resolving the issue. So far so good but still slow on boot with choppy graphics which none of my previous MyGica units exhibit. But please don't say no updates cause of time spent on trying to fix issues on the unit when the unit itself (1900AC) should not have been shipped in its condition. As far as the 1800,582 and 380 this update should not apply to them cause this is a 1900AC issue as far as I'm concerned.
  7. Did you install firmware reboot and then install ondemand patch?
  8. Can I use a usb instead of SD card?
  9. Will this be an ota update or flashable via usb/sdcard?
  10. Any news on new firmware?
  11. I did that for my older boxes. Works great.
  12. Exactly this. I think it's caused by the hotplug and them reducing the 4 cores down to 2. This is not present when all cores are working. If they were to change the profile from hotplug to ondemand or some other similar profile I think it would work
  13. k Ty. I'm just a little frustrated. I bought the 1900AC a little just over a year ago and surprised the issues are still going on. I've had/.have the 520e, 582, 380 and now the 1900AC and the worst issues have been with the most expensive product. I had put the 520e with open elect and it was awesome till it went kaput. The 582 and 380 are working with no issues other than the fact I broke the clip on the ethernet box that secures the cable on the 582. Both are stable just a little slower than when I had the 1900AC on Lollipop 5.0. but on 5.1.1 the 1900AC is slower.
  14. I'm not here to bash anyone. I just want these issues resolved just like everyone else. I just don't agree with the methods these dev are taking with the product. Justin, I'm going to send you a small video of the startup screen so you can see for yourself how slow the boot process is and it continues onto kodi where I get buffering issues where I should have none. Just to give you an idea, my 380 is working better and faster than my 1900AC and it only has 1GB of ram.
