  1. ATV 495 PRO HDR ATVxperience v2H firmware AndroidTV For those who prefer the AndroidTV interface, ATVxperience v2H works perfectly on the ATV 495 Pro HDR. You can download it here. You'll need to use the AMLogic Burning Tool and a USB A to A cable. The guys over at ATVxperience have a handy Youtube video showing the process. Plug your A-A USB cable in the USB port nearest the back of the box (next to the power connection). Open up AMLogic Burning Tool, load the .img file. Once loaded, click START. Those sneaky guys at MyGica didn't provide the ATV495 Pro HDR with a reset button, so to get into update mode there are a few ways, but the easiest is to download Terminal Emulator on your ATV 495 and install. Open the app and type reboot update Once it reboots, you should hear the USB connection sound on your PC and it'll flash the image. Once it's at 100% and green, unplug the USB and power. Plug power back in and give it about 5 minutes to boot the first time. Welcome to AndroidTV 7.1!
  2. no more updates? I haven't used mine in a while, I had left it at my in-laws to try out IPTV (they are Chinese/Vietnamese), but they never got it set up. I brought it home last night, looking at trying IPTV again myself (didnt' work for me before). I am pretty sure it will need to be updated, but I only see posts about Android 5.0. Are there no more newer updates? It doesn't look like there's very good support on MyGica boxes if they stop updating after a short time. I'm pretty sure that the hardware should easily be able to run newer Android versions.
  3. Hi there, I have two questions and I need to be answered quickly: Do you have the latest Firmware updates for my MyGica devices? Is it possible for the Firmware update to increase the recording rate from 30fps up to 60fps in 1080p quality recording mode? Thanks in advance, Qaher, Big Kurdistan
  4. Root Patch for latest Beta Firmware 2017.06.12?? Hi Team, Just wondering if a root patch is going to be available for the latest beta firmware dated 2017.06.12?? Runs great, but I lost root from the previous version and I'm stuck with a few apps that need root access. Thanks in advance. jimbo
  5. I had a thread earlier that got off topic about the 1800e stand by blank screen issue when waking the device. Today I was messing around and connected my box via Ethernet instead of wifi, After disabling the wifi and enabling the "Ethernet" I was SUCCESFULLY able to put the box in standby mode and WAKE IT!!!!! Needless to say I was excited because I thought I had solved my issue, HOWEVER, on occasion it would still give me the blank screen but only when Ethernet was disconnected and wifi was on. still working out kinks. so in the end having the Ethernet cable connected, on, active and wifi off, allows me to use the standby mode without having to reboot. Maybe your tech guys could use this info. its as if the Ethernet is what wakes the screen or unit... Brad

  8. Cannot upgrade firmware + arrow bug Just picked up a 1900Pro and getting a bit frustrated... besides the fact the keys on the back barely work, I'm having 2 main issues: 1) Every time I hit the Back button on the remote, the arrow appears on the screen. It's very annoying because I have no interest in using the mouse arrow at all. How can I disable it entirely? (i.e. hitting the Back button doesn't make it keep reappearing) 2) After lots of tinkering, I figured this must be a bug so I'm trying to upgrade the firmware. No matter what I do, nothing will appear under Local Update. I've hit the context button 10+ times (many times over) and nothing appears. I've tried different USB thumb drives, still nothing appears. Please advise.
