  1. Keeps dropping Wifi signal while all other devices are fine Hi, I got the box yesterday and have been struggling to get it to work properly. Plex has no luck. With Showmax it plays a show/movie for a little while then I get a message saying: "oops... Unable to connect. Please check your internet connection and try again. (AND1009)" I've tried resetting my modem, router even my DSL port. I've just spoken to a technician at Showmax who says I must update my firmware on the android box. Is that a good idea? Not sure if anyone else is having this issue? Thanks
  2. WiFi slow My Migica 585 is connected to my Router via Wifi. I'm only getting download speeds of around 2.5Mbps. My connection is 40Mbps. If I connect it via ethernet I get the full speed. I cannot run it via ethernet as my router is too far away. Both my phone and MacBook when in the same vicinity as the MyGica run at full speed. I even tried moving it closer to the router to test via ether net and wifi, but I get the same result All my other devices are connecting at full speed over wifi, but the MyGica 585 is not. I'm running the latest firmware, Its on auto-update, but its still running KitKat. Please help, I've tried it a few times but its always slow.
  3. Wifi Spec - MyGica ATV585 Good day, What is the max internal speed capability/limitation of the Wifi hardware installed in the MyGica ATV585 device? Is it 150Mbps / 300Mbps / 600Mbps? Thanks, Ian
  4. WiFi and Bluetooth on 585 stopped working Hi, My WiFi and Bluetooth both stopped working and will not turn on. The switches turn on but as soon as you leave the screen they go back to off. I am using what I think is the factory version 4.4.2 after trying the beta version of 5.01. There was no change with 5.0.1 so I went back to 4.4.2 but still no way to turn on either service. I did find a video that claimed to fix the problem for another box by going into the file system for WiFi settings and removing a setting but I can't find such a file on my 585. Also, my problem is both WiFi and Bluetooth behaving the same way (not staying on and switching off by itself). Is there anyone that has had this problem or knows a fix?
  5. 585 Upgrade to Lollypop Hi I just upgraded my 585 to Lollypop 5.1, using your image. My 585, running 4.4 had stopped being able to connect to WiFi and Bluetooth and I thought the upgrade would fix my problem. I now have Lollypop running but still cannot turn on either WiFi or Bluetooth. On the more settings page, I can turn on WiFi but as soon as I leave the page it will revert to off. The same with Bluetooth. Can anyone assist me? As it is currently my MyGica is just a paperweight and I am missing all my favorite shows!
  6. Wifi / Ethernet Hi there, serious noob here. I had an old box that died and bought a 1900 today. On my old box I had wifi and an expanded plugged into the Ethernet port and into my wall. No issues. Now I finally figured out with the 1900 I can only use one or the other. So I use wifi, connects, password ok (as I now have the Ethernet unplugged. Updated Kodi to 17.5 in google play. Now when I go into add a source in kodi it says I’m not connected, but I am. I’ve used kodi before and done the standard toggle to allow external sources, checked wifi again and all good. It just won’t let me add a source, period. Many suggestions would be greatly appreciated! nick
