whatsup745 0 Report post Posted April 9, 2015 Loaded the new firmware with Kodi and Kodi keeps crashing. I'd like to go back to XBMC. Is there a proceedure to load the last firmware before the Kodi version ? I have a few friends who want to switch back also.
wjw 9 Report post Posted April 9, 2015 Not sure about the 400 but I can't see why you can't either... a) load XBMC also along with Kodi, as they are (were) two different signatures so that you can run both b) uninstall Kodi from the settings/apps menu (again I don't have one so I'm not sure about the Andriod settings) and install xbmc. That way, newest firmware and an older more stable xbmc for you.
sledface 0 Report post Posted April 11, 2015 I downloaded Kodi 14.1 and installed it alongside XBMC13.2 on my 1200. It automatically transferred all my apps and settings to 14.1, real simple. I have heard the firmware version is buggy? Just go to tvaddons, they have any version you want. I found that 14.1 is way faster and cleaner, no problems yet. Thanks for the forum! Justin 206 Report post Posted April 13, 2015 You can run XBMC and KODI at the same time as they have different app signatures. I have attached the XBMC 13.2 Gotham from kodi.tv it is the official version. In case everyone is having issues finding it xbmc-13.2-Gotham-armeabi-v7a (3).zip
