Playing videos from network pc

Hi all, new to this form, and new to MyGica.

Just pickup up ATV585 this passed weekend to add to my second TV. I am an Apple TV2 jailbroken user on my main TV. Would like to setup the ATV 585 to play movies from my windows computer over my network.

Found the computer under file manager, but was wondering if there was an app or add-on that I could install to get that would make this a bit more user friendly.

Must say I do like now Kodi runs on the MyGica, very stable so far.

I've tried both simply using the "file manager" and the library scraping method to bring in all my movies (500+) and TV shows. Scraping locked my poor ol' 1200 up so bad I had to reinstall to factory. My new tv (LG) sees my plex on my server and also sees my server itself as a drive. I haven't tried it but you might want to look at installing Plex for Android on your front screen and running from there.

Did it through Kodi. I added a smb location and things are working well
