MyGica ATV585 Nothing in Kodi

I recently gave my ATV585 to a friend and purchased a new one. While my first 585 had lots of choices in KODI (IChannel, Genisis, Icefilms etc) as soon as I connected it to the internet, this unit has nothing. Is there something wrong with the unit or am I missing something in the setup? While the original one said KODI, this one says xbmc. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

First thing I would do is uninstall XBMC in app settings and grab the newest version on www.kodi.tv

We can't discuss 3rd party addons since we can't control what they stream, and some may violate copyright laws.

Youtube has a ton of info for kodi addons.
