Codec for mkv

Movie has no sound in mkv format when tried to play from usb. Movie plays fine from lg DVD player.

I have the same problem. MKV has video but no sound. The audio seems to be A3C

Any options to resolve this?

I tried other MKVs and they seem to have AAC or MP3 as audio codecs and those seem to work

Try playing the MKV file in VLC Video Player, it will decode the AC3 Audio.

KODI will decode it as well.
