a friend of mine owns;

Magical MX2 Dual Core Android SmartTV Box

the unit does have an Model: MX2 (listed on the bottom) and in the android About section it lists a G18Ref board

While it does not carry or have printed on the device or in the programming any reference to MyGica,

The ad on the Ebay site has posted in the Description ( item specifics . . . MPN: Magical MX2 Android XBMC Streaming MyGica 1200

My quest here today if to get clarification on if this indeed is a MyGica product or clone of such product made available to folks in Canada?

I want to reflash the system and get it back to spec for the owner.

I have tried a couple of other MX2(G18Ref) firmware flashes - with decent success - but i would prefer something closer to the original shipped by the originating product supplier.

If anybody can help direct me to a working support group for this product - I would be very appreciative.

This was actually a customer local to us that brought these in about 1.5 years ago. He wanted to sell something that was similar looking to MyGica, it is not a clone, just has similar looking packaging.

I am surprised there are still some of these being sold.

This is not an MX2

You will have to look for files for the Zoomtak Dual Core boxes, since Zoomtak is the company that made this product.

As far as where to direct you for this, I am not sure. Maybe try XDA Developers, Kodi Official forums etc.
