Samsung JU7100 4K and 1800E

I have a Samsung TV and with an 1899E I can only get a resolution of 720 or I get a no signal message. Is there simply a compatability issue with Samsung and the 1800? Is there a remedy for this??

Justin, are you able to offer anything here?? By the way I am running the current firmware and Kodi 15.2

Success. I found an item on you tube that suggested the problem could be the HDMI cable. I therefore decided to try a high end very fast HDMI cable. It worked and now can use all resolutions including 4K.

However, one issue is that when first connected I only got a small picture in the upper left corner of the TV ( 65 inch) By playing with video calibration and the zoom control I can get a full image on the TV but wish I could simply get a full picture without having to zoom in on the picture.

So with the solving of one problem comes another. If anyone has encountered this issue of a small picture with high resolutions, please let me know. The picture by the way is amazing.
