Would merging 2 latest ATV520e upgrades work?

update_MyGica_4.2_20140519_KR34

It would require editing "factory_update_param.aml" text file

If you replace the

update_MyGica_4.2_20140519_KR34

file with update_MyGica_4.2_20150209_KR34 along with the 4 other files require to upgrade to 4.2

And also rename the file name within factory_update_param.aml to match the new IMG file

You will then be able to upgrade to 4.2 and have the latest firmware file, without having to install 2 files to get to the latest version.

This is a bit more technical for some people. but I hope you understand it.

Exactly what I was thinking. I need it because sometimes my MyGica_4.2_20150209 freezes, and when it does I reinstall the system from microsd, so reinstalling with one upgrade makes things simpler.

Yes I tried it and can confirm it works fine. But keep in mind I was basically restoring already installed version 4.2.2. I have not tested it going from 4.1 to 4.2.2

It will work going from 4.1 to 4.2
