Installing SuperSU

I need to install SuperSU since one of the apps I want to install on the 1800E will not run on rooted devices. Are there any risks / issues running SuperSU on the 1800E? SuperSU will help to mask the app to think the box is unrooted. It looks like it is somewhat difficult to remove Super SU after. If that is the case, can I just reinstall the latest firmware file to wipe it out?

you should be able to load latet firmware, via manuall software update by reset pin and SD card
