Updating from Kodi 14.1 to Jarvis ??

Hello from Newmarket, On

I just received an updated TV box (ATV1200) from Mygica to replace my old ATV 520E.

I checked the Kodi and firmware info on the box and the config is Kodi 14.1 Helix (Feb 5, 2015) and the firmware is Android Version 4.2.2

Question for you. At present is Android 4.2.2 firmware that is installed , the newest firmware for the ATV 1200. ? If so.. how can I update the existing Kodi

14.1 to Jarvis 16.0??

1. If it's the (I think) Feb 9/15 firmware then that's the latest.

2. To install Isengard/Jarvis you first have to uninstall 14.2 Helix. Under Android settings (black screen with white words down the left) look under "apps" then find and uninstall Kodi 14.2. I then use the app installer program to install 15.2 or 16.* from an sd card that I had previously put "Kodi Android arm version" directly from Kodi.tv.

I've ran through the steps a bit quick, and I might have jumped over a step or two, but I have the identical box on a shelf in my basement with 4.2.2 and 15.2 on it...

Then you can move onto step 1.1 or 2.1. Depends how you want to install the newest version of KODI
