ATV582 No Ethernet Connection off Network Hub

My network setup is cable modem --> network router (DHCP) --> 8 port NETGEAR hub --> devices

When I hook up the ATV582 to a port off my router I get no ethernet connection. When I hook up any other device (laptop/smarttv) to same port and patch cable I get an ethernet connection; all DHCP.

Now if I hook up the ATV582 directly to my network router, I get an Ethernet Connection and can access the Internet. Any idea why an ATV582 can not get an Ethernet Connection off a network hub where all other devices can?

please check these steps so we could figure out what could be wrong

1. From Main Screen Select Settings ( top left hand side )

2. Select WiFi

3. 4 tabs on the top select Other

4. can you write down Build number for us?

in one way it could be older software or updated and corrupted the drivers for Ethernet..

please let us know we could find a proper solution
