No audio on new tv from atv1200- help!

since we got a new Panasonic lcd, I can't get audio from my atv1200.

I've tried to check audio output setings, checked on youtube, forums, but nothing.

it worked fine with our old plasma tv..... but not with this one.

suggestions would be appreciated.

Using RCA or HDMI?

Sorry forgot to also ask

If using HDMI is it connected to a stereo receiver first then the TV?
