MyGiga 585 can't play 4K, video format not supported?

Wonder if someone can help.

MyGiga 585 tell's me "video format unsupported" when using the 4K player. The audio seems to play, but no picture.

The 4K videos is Mpeg4 format downloaded from Youtube. It places direct from my 4k Tv's usb input, and also on my computer.

Not sure if there are some special codecs to update or something special for mpg4 4K?

When trying to play it from Kodi 16.1, it also freezes, then I have to switch off and on the whole Mygiga device to get it going again.

Would appreciate any help to get this working.

585 only supports a max of 1080p resolution, no 4K support.

But it comes with a 4K player installed ... shouldn't it be able to resample at least?
