kodi wont start ,no disk space

hi all had my gica582 for about 3 weeks, but keep getting a problem with kodi, it will start the screen goes black and i am returned to the my gica home screen.

ihave cleared kodi data and reinstalled a number of times it was working ok then i get disk space low message?

using the more settings option on main screen / storage  6.95 gig space non   apps+date  1.5gig   downloads 440mb

cannot see where the rest of the disc space  has gone   kodi is about 700mb 

i have tried to use the file explorer but cannot get that to work properly,   the remote app on 2 phones or tablet will not link or pair with the 582

is there another file explorer i could try?

so what has used all the disc space  also how do i chech how much flash memory is avaliable

Not sure of the error - you may want to consider a factory reset and starting from scratch, but maybe ES File Explorer from the play store first.
