ATV 1900ac Last Firmware 5.0 Full Install

Hi,

Is there anyway of getting a link to the last version of the 5.0 firmware - full install version?

I have some apps that won't work on 5.1, which I didn't realise until I installed 5.1

I think that the apps may not be working due to the firmware not being rooted anymore.

 

We do have a root patch that should rectify this issue and get those apps running for you.

Hi,

Thanks for this, but is did not work, the app is called DSTV Now, its a Paid satellite TV company, they say there app only works with Version 5.0.

I get an error "Error 4101 drm fail to initiate" they say it is only compatible to 5.0, you can read about it here http://forum.dstv.com/showthread.php?t=28505 

Is there any chance of getting a link to the last 5.0 full version?

So let me see if I read this right. The link Bohica93 sent was for the "new" Lollipop out in June 2015. 18 months later in MygicaLand the first "stable" release of 5.1 is out in November 2016, but only for the newest 4 boxes...   

*Sigh*   Time to turn on one of my other competitors' boxes (this is a $90 one) and update it to the latest official Kodi Krypton beta supplied by the manufacturer.

But they work on Android 5.0??

Do you have a list of the apps which do not work?
Are they from the Google Play Store?

Yip they worked on 5.0

The apps are on the Google Play Store, they are called DStv Now & SuperSport.

It will be very hard for us to test and make this app work on 5.1, as we would need a subscription in order to even use this app.

If you can share how to get access to a subscription, I am willing to try and get it fixed.
