Kodi exists after playing a few seconds of video

Recommended Posts

I have version 15.2 of kodi, android version 4.4.2

Things were working fine a couple of weeks ago, but now when I try to play a video either in the library or by selecting a file via browsing through the files option, some videos play for a few seconds then kodi exits. Sometimes kodi exits when I select a sub-folder, such as Season 01.

Some of the videos I have tried used to work fine.

Does anyone have any suggestions. Anyone else seen this?

I am trying a manual software update.

The media is located on a NAS device and the mygica accesses them via SMB.

I have confirmed that the NAS device is working - a version of kodi running on my macbook air can play all the media files.

Why not upgrade the version of KODI to 16.1? Which is the most up to date official version of KODI.

It can be easily found now on the Google Play Store
