So what happened to the openelec update?

Awhile back, I purchased the ATV1800, I had issues with the playback of the original OS/Kodi setup, so I tried the OpenElec beta you release, with promises to upgrade to the latest version at some point. Now I cannot even find a post about it.

What ever happened to this update?

The update has been put on the shelf as there is more demand for the Android OS.

I have been looking at updating this again, but it would be under Librelec and not OE.

+1 for Libreelec. I'm running it on a box with 1 go of ram and clocked at 1.2 gig. Instead of slogging along with an Andriod build, its snappy using 17.0 Estuary.

Yes it does work well

+ A lot of the Openelec guys went over to Libreelec

As I said, right now I am just looking into it
