Firmware update 5.1

I just did firmware 5.1 update and got this lollipop on screen then screen goes black and nothing else happens. I followed the direction to a T. What did I do wrong?

Have you tried installing it again?

ever since I installed this update my 1800 will not power off. also my tv does not recognize that the hdmi is connected until i pull it out and placen it back in. this is the same on my uncles 1800 and my 582.

for the black screen i have had to wait around a minute or two for it to load up. if that doesnt work i pull out the power cord for 5 seconds and put it back.

Were fully aware of this issue people are having, as it has been reported on different threads in our forum.

We will fix this soon for Android 5.1

Ok, thanks Justin for your reply. I also have had the same problems as Serf360. Thought I had done something wrong.  I did reinstall and worked after a few tries. Now just putting up with the bugs and waiting for next update.

Is there other bugs you are experiencing?

Yes there is, seems slower to reacting to commands

more stuttering than usual

allot of times my mouse pointer does not show when pressing pointer on remote

when turning off box then turning it back on later I always need to unplug power to box then plug back in to turn on

probly going back to original firmware till all bugs fixed in 5.1
