MYGICA box with the best firmware.

I bought a mygica 586 Sept 2016. 

seems like there are no firmware updates to get KODI 17 (and possibly 18 soon) to install in this box.

When i looked at the boxes how am I supposed to know which has the best and latest firmware?

I did this to replace my old appletv 2 jailbroken  after it crashed.

Now what ???

If you go to the native settings of Android and down to ABOUT DEVICE

It will tell you the firmware version you are using, these versions are dated.

The latest version for the 586 is 20160519
