MYGICA LED in front panel not lighting up

I just bought a ATV-1900PRO and the mygica led in the front panel doesn't light up whenever I turn on the unit.  Is this a defect?

Thanks for clarifying this.  Since I saw one lit on a 1900PRO video review in youtube.

May I ask what was the reason why was this changed at some point?  It's really cool though if it lights up while in operation.
