ATV stuck in recovery mode!

Hello,

I was trying to update kodi on my system as it was not opening anymore and thought maybe the firmware had to be updated ... now I'm currently stuck in this screen and don't really know what to do...  

pretty sure I don't have a SD card and it's not reading from a external hard drive that I have or USB card ? 

Please need help!
