Atv1800e -Cant figure this one out- Need some expertise!

Hi All;

I have been updating several ATV1800e's use the reset button on the back, load lollipop from SD card.. On one unit, I tried the same process.. The lights didn't flash after even 20 seconds or more and after I let go of the reset button, it shut off and now wont boot at all.. I cant get it into recovery, and when powering up goes from Green to orange (status light) but nothing else.. I have tried Recovery screen with SD Card, and without.. Hooked up to Ethernet and without- Same with HDMI, both plugged and not.. tried different remotes as well.. Right now its a paperweight..I tried the factory 1800E files but cant load as I cant get to recovery or bootup.. Help! Any suggestions?

it seems you have bricked your box, you need to service it through our repair department, with respect to warranty period.

Also, attach your proof of purchase.

If it was purchased within the last 12 months, then yes it is covered under warranty.

If not, then there is a small fee for this to be fixed.

fair enough- what is the fee?

If it is just getting fixed by software then about $20 or so.

If needs to be replaced about $40-50
