USB2.0 Video Capture

Recently purchased this mygica product and installed it on my laptop. After connecting my vcr to the capit was able to start capture but after a quick frame appearance from the input video the screen went black and then the same thing happens when i stopped the capture. then a capture fault pops up. I am looking for support on this problem please.
