Apps with Overlays Not Working

I'm having issues with a few apps that use overlays, for instance, facebook messenger will pop up when someone messages me and I can't click the chat head overlay to check the message. This also happens when I try to record game play footage with the google play games app, I can't click the record button on the overlay, it clicks on the app underneath it.

Do you install the March OTA update out of curiousity?

I downloaded and flashed the firmware update from this site. I think it was the March release. Now the upgrade app exits when I run a manual update.

Also I lost the built in web browser when I ran that update.

That overlay bug you described, I have it sometimes in the MyGica store app.   The foreground layer isn't active and when I click the remote the icons in the background that are blurred are active by mistake instead.   This the sort of thing you describe?

It only started doing this after I manually updated the box with the last March update.

I updated the firmware to v1.3 and the messenger chat head overlay is still not clickable.

I cleared out the upgrade app data to be able to download updates again..

Are you using a mouse when you try and do all of this?

Yes an air mouse. I'm also using the Nova Launcher.

Will have to get this issue looked at.
