Make sure to use less than 15 repo's and use the default xbmc skin. Its also recommend to clear the app cache once in awhile. Geniatech is coming out with an updated Linux firmware which will improve overall performance.

Geniatech is working on a newer linux version firmware. it should be completed less than 2 weeks.

Currently the app cache feature is used by 3rd party software and not part of official xbmc build.

If you want to test other versions of linux firmwares you can find them on the official XBMC dot org website.

hey guys any update on the geniatech firmware???

We are currently testing an update that was given to us last week.

This update allows you to use an External SD card as the main storage device for all your add ons, which should make the operation of your unit fast and smooth, since none of the actual built in storage will be used, which has been the main cause of XBMC running slow due to people loading to many add ons and your cache becoming full.

We should be releasing this as a public release within the next week.
