stuck on kit kat screen

Hi 

My 1800e was working great - returned home from work - tried to turn on - there is power - black screen - no video feed so I unplug and power up - stuck on Kit Kat screen

Tried factory reset - stuck on that screen

Is there a way to do a hardware reset  for the 1800e?
