Netflix not supported?

I have the 495 Pro and I can't get Netflix to work, I keep getting a cannot connect 15002 error, Netflix isn't available from the play store either. Downloading the app from the MyGica store or  directly from Netflix doesn't help either, if I had to guess I'd say Netflix no longer support Android 5.1 which is not acceptable as I mainly watched Netflix on my 495 Pro. Any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

I just bought a unit and did the system update.

Netflix works but it is not even HD! My old FireTV stick has far better quality on wifi than the MyGica has on Ethernet with 100Mbit

thanks but that version by @apkguy is outdated and giving an error on startup.

So far Netflix only plays in like 540p. Far from HD or FullHD quality. I have a FireTV stick with FullHD and can nicely compare on same TV.

Take a read of this article:

It gives some background on why you don't get Netflix HD, nor 4K on your MyGica box, but do get it on your Amazon Fire stick (and specific other devices).  The same applies to most Android TV boxes, not just MyGica (and manufacturers that are bigger).
