No Network Connection when trying to update KODI on ATV1900Pro

Hi I am not sure if this is already a topic as there are 6 + pages to look through my specific issue.  I was trying to update my ATV 1900 Pro.  I factory reset and tried to update with Ares Wizard I believe and once I entered the zip file name and when entered it it says cannot add because no network connection.  I tried to add an updated firmware and that I am unsure of how to do.  If someone could so kindly help me with all the steps to get my device working.  I do have an internet connection. Thanks in advance for the help.

After you did a factory reset, did you reconfigure the wifi settings?  Make sure wifi has been configured/connected and open a browser to test that you still have Internet access.

Yes the ethernet cable is connected and I went onto the browser to download the firmware so I do know the connection is there.

If that's what you mean.  This whole situation is foreign to me so I apologize if I am not understanding the terms.
