No picture/startup wizard

Just plugged in our new mygica 495x but no picture. Just a jumpy snowy picture. What can I do? The remote also seems to be interfering with the TV.

If you already checked all the connections and the TV input is set to HDMI, then it sounds like DOA.  Return the unit to the store.
