Mygica TV Tuner Stick

My Arcsoft TotalMedia software shows a window saying "a previously configued TV tuner is not available. The device must be reconnected or the TV tuner configuration must be modified" This happens everytime I switch on the PC. I have to unplug the stick and do a replug to clear the window then the Tuner is recognised. Another issue is that my remote is not talking to the stick - I understand you may have to pair the remote to the stick but can not find information online to do the pairing.
