Adjusting screen position

Just purchased an ATV 495X from Incredible Connection. I cannot get the screen to move to the centre of my TV (LG 32LF20FR) screen. The position screen button just allows zoom in or out. those little arrows don't do anything.
Any help would be appreciated.
