Atv 400 bottom of keyboard hidden

Hi brand new user

have set up and all was well until i attempted to add my Netlix account and bottom of keyboard seems to be hidden behind black bar with some menu symbols on it that i can not get rid off

Called assistance but was told to watch videos that i have done

i can change screen size and do lots of other things but can not get keyboard to front

what have I missed

just reset started over and now have whole keyboard
