Playstation Vue

I downloaded the Playstation Vue app, from the Google Play store.

It seemed to install correctly, but when I try and open it, it gives

me an error, stating "PlayStation Vue App can't be installed on a rooted box."

How do I go about installing this app on my box, as I have a Vue account and would like to use it?

The ATV 586 comes rooted, that is why it does not work on your box.

Sorry but we do not have any files available to unroot the 586, so therefore the Vue app will not work.

Hey, Justin one final question...what is or was the latest/last firmware update for the 586?

I have seen 2 or 3 different updates, but was wondering what was the last official release was?

Thanks!

The latest one is the only version posted in our Downloads section
Not sure where you saw the other versions/updates

Thanks Justin!

One last question can I hook up analog cable service to the A586?

I ask this because my dad was just put into a nursing home, in a rural

town which has like 24 channels on their cable system.

Want to hook it to the A586, so he could get some of the sports channels they don't offer,

and to easily be able to switch back and forth between the TV and the Apps.

What do you mean analog cable service?

Mid you mean to be able to plug the cable line from the home into the device, I’m sorry but that won’t work. It requires the type of signal coming from the antenna.
