MY ATV 582 IS FROZEN ON HOME SCREEN

My ATV582 is completely frozen on the home screen. I have tried turning it off at the plug and it reboots, gets to the home screen and i cannot move the cursor or arrow buttons at all. I have changed the batteries in the remote (remote came with my box) but still nothing. I've tried ro factory reset the box as well but thats doesn't even work. Its completely frozen.

Which remote model # are you using?

 

I think the remote you're using has just become unpaired
You can try and connect USB Computer mouse to the box, and see if that works
If it does work, then it just means your remote has become unpaired.
