Changing Applications to be displayed on Home Screen

I would like to change some of the favorite apps on the MyGIca Home Screen... I read the User Manual:

You can store all your favorite applications in My Favorite folder by highlight the application then hold the OK button of the remote control. A windows will pop out asking if you want to add this app to My Favorite. Click Yes and this app will store in My Favorite Folder.

However, when I select a highlighted application and hold the OK button on the remote it launches the application... any other way of changing the favorite apps?

That seems odd that it just launches the application

Which Android Launcher are you using when you are trying this?

You must long click on icon yyou like to change on home screen, not icon in app list...

I tried with a friends remote and it worked as it should... most likely an issue with my remote.
