Miracast, Windows 10, very choppy.

Miracast, Windows 10, very choppy.

Hi All, using 495 Pro, with Windows 10 laptop.

Tried Miracast to watch live streaming from my laptop.

Very choppy and sluggish.
Moved my laptop near tv, same thing.

Not very good.

Plays smooth on laptop, same time, choppy and sluggish via Miracast.

Anyone else have this issue?

ok, upgraded my 495 pro with latest version and choppiness is gone, but not my volume is way too low.

checked all settings but nothing, can't get the volume to be louder anymore when using miracast.

in original software there was a setting in sound section that i changed to hdmi, but couldn't find it in new version.

What new version did you download and install?

There use to be a setting in the 6.0 version for sound for HDMI but now when using Miracast and Windows10 my sound is very very very low.
Spent two hours last night trying every possible combination.

Any one know the exact settings to get the sound working properly?

Have you tried using the MyGica Share/E-Share Windows app?

If you open up the MyGica Share/E-Share app, you will find out how to install the Windows EXE file

This will allow you to share the screen + sound.

Also, have you looked at the sound settings under the DROID SETTINGS app on Android 7.1, this is where you can adjust sound, either by the Sound Setting Section or by going into More Settings, and sound inside there.

Miracast is just terrible app with my 495 Pro....finally sound click on for 1 day and now gone again....

something is wrong for sure within app.

Have you not tried the MyGica share PC app that shares the Screen + Sound?
If you open the MyGica Share/Eshare app on your box, it will give you a IP address to type into the browser

Use this on your PC, you can then download the PC app

We have 4 boxes connected in the office, all have MyGica Share
3 are 495 PRO HDR and 1 is 495X

I have tried using the MyGica Share PC App that mirrors the Video and Sound

On all 4 boxes, the sound and video both work without issues.

I would suggest trying to get the unit exchanged with your seller as it sounds like there is an issue with the box itself.
