Remote pairing

Hi.

Just bought the ATV 495 max, but we cant pair the remote.  Without the remote being paired, you cant reset the machine.  It seems like it might have been setup before as we do not get the screens indicated in the manual.

Please assist us in sorting this asap.

Or the manual reset  button to clear all data on the unit?

Hi there,

did a screen pop up showing to press the ok and back buttons to pair? 

A quick tip would be to plug in a mouse from a computer to navigate to settings, then Bluetooth, and go to pair a new device. 

You should see your remote in the list during pairing mode, but if not, hold down the “ok” button and back button for about ten seconds first to initiate the Bluetooth pairing mode in the remote.
