Can not connect to 5Ghz wireless

I have a ATV495pro that connect to my 5GHz wireless network

But the ATV1960 can not even see the 5GHz network, had the same problem with a ATV495x

Any firmware update?

Hi there,

so you currently have your 495 pro hooked up to 5ghz in the same location? 

The 495x didn’t have 5 ghz. 

It may be that you are too far away? The 5ghz band doesn’t reach nearly as far as the 2.4 band.

Tested both devices same place ATV495pro connects to 5GHz but not the ATV1960

Can you please do a factory reset? 

Also, go into settings and “update” and make sure you’ve checked to see if there are any updates.

I've checked for updates but there's nothing to update, will do hard reset and check
