Youtube App no longer Compatible

Hi

From last week, the Youtube app supplied with this media player no longer works.

When I enter the app, it tells me I must upgrade to the latest version in order to continue using this app. I am taken to the google play store where I can update. When I click update, it tells me that this new version of youtube is no longer compatible with my device.

 

Any work arounds ????
