Can't upgrade my ATV 528

Hello everyone,

I'm having issue in upgrading my ATV 528, i'm follwing the step by step guide

with the 27/4 firmware, but my box reboot and nothing changes

Using a new out of the box ATV 528

I am currently on build V001M801_20140423

Kernal 3.10.33

Which updates do need to do and in what order? I don't want to brick my box

1. viewtopic.php?f=113&t=1591

2. viewtopic.php?f=113&t=1710

3. viewtopic.php?f=113&t=2154

Once done you will be updated to the latest release.

Hi Justin,

I'm trying to update a friends ATV582.

Build number = V002M801_20150321

Uboot version = 12b87da(20150127.105825)

Kernal = 3.10.33

I have tried the latest firmware for this device but it does nothing. Its still running XBMC 13.1.

Do i need to follow your post above with the 3 steps.

Any help would be appreciated.

OK. I got it. I did a factory reset and it's working fine now. Xbmc is gone and kodi is there.
