screen flicker atv 1800 new firmware

Recommended Posts

Sorry can you not double post. You also posted this in the 1200 section

I have moved it to the 1800 section.

For screen flickering, have you tried changing the output resolution setting to see if that helps?

I am also getting the screen flickering.  At random times the screen just goes off and on for a second.  I tried manually changing the resolution but no success.

Have you tried using a different HDMI Cable?

Does this happen on other TV's you try the box on?

Different HDMI cables, yes.  Same problem.  Different TVs, yes.  Problem does not appear on other TVs.  Switched resolution to 24hz and the problem appeared to go away.  Is it possible that the unit is having a hard time with the 60hz?  Would a 1900 pro have an easier time with the higher frequency?

I use 60HZ on a LED TV at home without issue, same with the 5 units we have on display in our showroom.

Is your TV LCD, LED or Plasma?
