Latest Update?

OK so am I missing something with the latest update? They are not even in the same format as previous ones. No update.bin etc. I have tried from recovery and from the one board app. Both fail.

It is currently running 4.2.2

Uboot is from 20140403

Recovery version is from 20140331

Kernel Version is from 20140331

Build Number 20140519

IS there an update I have missed?

You have to just extract the IMG file from the zip file. And then put it onto the root of an SD card.

I have always uploaded files in the IMG Format, they were just in a ZIP folder, so I am not sure what the issue is now with everyone being confused on how to load it.

I have installed this IMG file onto over 50 units so far without any issues

OK ... but what IMG? There were 3 from my recollection. Recovery, Boot, and one other I cannot remember off hand.

All the other updates I have done had an " upgrade.img ... this one doesn't.

I tried flashing each of these and the little Android guy just falls over with an exclamation mark above him lol

These are the files that get extracted from the zip .. I have tried them all and unfortunately none seem to work? Do you mean I should extract the " IMG " files down more?

Hello everyone! I got used MyGica ATV400. I don't know if there is an upgrade to a newer version for my device. If there is an upgrade, I kindly ask you for help, how to upgrade and what I need to download.  These are information of my device:

Hi Guys,

I'm sorry to inform you that this chipset will not allow a newer operating system onto it. While we had some success with 4.4 to 5.1 with some other chipsets, this one was something that could never be brought up to a higher OS. 

Although this chipset is almost 7 years old, we were updating it right up until Feb 2015. Thats better than almost all mobile chipset companies producing STB's and even phones.
