    Atv1200
  1. Great Rom for Atv1200 from Finless Bob! Read more here: http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.php? ... ss-ROM-1-4 Install only if you have Android 4.1 (if you have 4.2 you must downgrade to 4.1 before install this rom)
  2. One more experiment with Mygica ATV1200: In one of he most important apps for me (video streaming app) playback was not perfectly smooth (audio/video stuttering for about 1 sec every 3-5 minutes). I tried various build.prop configs (disabled/enabled video related settings) but nothing worked. I flashed about 20 firmwares to my box (also Android 4.2) and one of them worked really great - Android 4.1 20130326 (http://www.geniatech.com/down-eng/andro ... 130326.zip). Video playback in the app now was smooth, also other things in my box worked ok (hw video acceleration, XBMC, remote controle settings etc.) but there was one small problem - i can connect to internet only with cable because wifi was not working (drivers?). Thats how i solved wifi problem: 1. Extracted original firmware with working wifi (for example 20130805: http://www.geniatech.com/down-eng/andro ... 05_eng.zip) 2. Changed boot.img and logo.img with same files from firmware 20130326 (http://www.geniatech.com/down-eng/andro ... 130326.zip) 3. Created zip archive and signed it with APK-Multi-Toolv1.0.11.zip (useful info about this here: http://forum.androidgadget.co.uk/showthread.php?tid=119). Then i flashed this modified firmware to my box and everything (also wifi) now is working ok. About SPI: i didn't touch the spi, only flashed new firmware. Spi on my box is 20130805. I dont know why but older version of boot.img (kernel?) for me works better than new kernels(?). If we talking about older firmwares and wifi i can say that for my box wifi is only working from Android 4.1 version 20130805 - something related to wifi is missing in older firmwares.
  3. Just to test video playback (audio/video sync) in various apps
  4. Question about ATV1200: Maybe someone knows how to turn on/off hardware accelleration in this box (Android 4.1)?
  5. Ok, i solved the problem with adobe flash player and high bitrate videos and also the problem with hardware accelleration in youtube app - now hd videos in youtube app plays ok. How? I downgraded from Android 4.2 to Android 4.1 from mygica.es (http://www.mygica.es/downloads/Manual_D ... 130805.rar) I really like Android 4.2 in Mygica 1200 (its fast and stable) but i dont know why my device had a problems with high bitrate videos in Adobe Flash Player and high bitrate videos in youtube app. Maybe its something about hardware accelleration in flash player and youtube app in Android 4.2? Or maybe its only in my device? I dont know but i can promise that i will try every new release of Android 4.2 in mygica.ca Thanks for your work!
  6. Flash is working ok when im playing videos with constant bitrate but it hangs when video bitrate changes during playback (for example, video starts with 500 kb bitrate but after some time changes to 1500kb or 2400kb). I can hear only audio but there is no video with bitrate 1500 or 2400. Maybe you can give me download link to Mygica's 1200 flash 10.2 with hw accelleration? If version 10.2 is not supported in Android 4.2 maybe i can try to flash this firmware (http://www.geniatech.com/news/mx-atv120 ... uction.asp) which have pre-load Geniatech Flash player 10.2 hardware decoding apk.? Is it safe to flash this firmware to Mygica ATV1200?
  7. Hi! One question: where can i download Adobe flash player that supports hardware decoding in Android 4.2 for ATV 1200?
  8. I reinstalled youtube app - no results. I did a factory reset and then tried to play hd file - no results. Maybe you Justin can test this file ( ) in HD option in youtube player and tell me about quality? In XBMC youtube add-on i can play this file smoothly in 720 so it's not a problem with my connection speed. I think it's because in my box youtube app dont have hardware accelleration.
  9. Buffering is ok, problem is that hd video from youtube stutters in youtube app. I also tried XBMC youtube add-on - there is no problems with 720 and 1080 videos, playback is smooth.
  10. Is it possible to play video with hardware accelleration in Youtube app? I tested some HD videos but i cant play them smoothly.
