Yes this firmware can handle Dolby 5.1 and DTS. So far I have tried Dolby 5.1 right now I am downloading one DTS movie, I will try it an report it here. Tomorrow I hope. Tried DTS and it is working fine, receiver detects DTS 5.1 How can I be sure, well when I put some movie with 2 CH my receiver Onkyo detect that and when I put Dolby he detects Dolby and I assure you that if audio receiver detects Dolby than it is Dolby 5.1 My equipment is connected like this: MyGica ATV 582 --(hdmi)--> Onkyo TX-sr576 --(hdmi)--> Panasonic TV I also tried HEVC H.265 movie in latest kodi 15 *720p working fine no shuttering almost perfect *1080p not working fine it shutters and lags Justin will our box in future will support hardware decoding of H.265 or just what software like KODI can handle?

For me everything is working : 1. Sound out of sync with official kodi 15 is gone, now everything is fine 2. Tried Hdmi passthrough dolby 5.1 and dts is working activated it in expert settings of kodi if someone needs help I will be glad to help you. 1. First you need to activate in settingmbox digital audio detection 2. In kodi system->settings->system->audio output (settings level Expert ) activate enable passthrough) For me there is only one issue about net led which is not blinking on network activity but I can live without it. Hello I did some testing regarding this Netflix issue. I think this problem is related to the Neflix itself. Let me explain. On ATV582 I installed bsplayer, vlc and mx player daroon, dice player . I also have same .m3u list of IPTV channels. Results were very diffrent from player to player. Some worked perfectly, some have problems and some have very bad playback and this is because they haven't optimized hardware decoding in their app for our amlogic S802B cpu. On the other hand I installed same programs on htc m8 with same .m3u list and all programs worked perfectly because they optimized programs for snapdragon cpu in htc m8 cpu. I think that this issue schould be addressed to Netflix not mygica team. Correct me if I am wrong but after this testing this is my conclusion. I don't know is there netflix plugin for kodi because on that way netflix would use kodi hardware decoding. Regards. Tutorial that might work for you guys:

Thanks Justin for quick reply. I want to say that this device is great. It is Android box but I only use Kodi for home entertainment. I had one big issue that had nothing to do with box but with kodi itself. I resolve this with zero cache config and redirected to write on sd card instead of internal memory of device. My question to you is it possible to openELEC install on sd card instead on internal memory of device because then when I activate 0cache config it will automatically write cache to sd card because sd card would be main memory on openELEC operating system. No not yet.... I may have time tomorrow to try it out. FBN I was not able to get Netflix to work with the native browser or Chrome, in both cases when trying to play something, I was told to use the Netflix app. I don't have anything that accepts composite video, but did try composite audio (RCA) with HDMI and it was out of sync. What have you tried chachi? Maybe you could share your testing results? FBN I saw the video and problem is there. I think that only mygica support can solve this. I have the same problem with kodi 15 from google play store and what is interesting delay between picture and sound was similar. But with mygica kodi everything is fine.

Also struggling, tried 2 different SD cards (class 4 and 10) and a FAT32 usb drive but nothing shows up in the local upgrade OK I have the same problem because I overlooked one option. 1. go to upgrade app 2. there are three options local update, automatic update and upgrade settings 3. open upgrade settings 4.in upgrade settings choose insted of cache external sd card 5. try now local update

I know that this is probably stupid dea but have you tried record it with smartphone on HD 720 or 1080 and maybe this will be good enough to see the problem. Regards.

Hello. I just want to make some suggestions about this thread. I can imagine how we all are angry if something is not working properly. On the other hand there is Justin behind Mygica team trying to figure out how to help us. The one BIG problem is that this is android box with endless possibilities of how to modify it and sometimes we installed or activate something that we shouldn't. But to resolve this issues that we have. For example Netflix i recomend to film short video and post it here or on YouTube so that Justin and we can see the problem. I am not saying that you don't have the problem but show us so we can help. For example I had one problem regarding livetv pvr where kodi was constantly doing caching... I have spent few days to discover that I need to increase pvr cache to 20 sec and now all is fine. The other problem that I noticed is that network led is not blinking when I am doing some stream. Justin in other section (there is printscreen of my tv ) I asked how in 4k mygica launcher change location for weather from sharorah to our location, it is not pain in the... but I don't want sharorah either. This is respons to Quantum_Amiga problem I really do not know what is causing problem with your unit. I also have latest beta with stock kodi 14.2 and I have to say videos are super fast as the kodi interface. Now I also have wdtv live gen 3 as media player and it is too slow to compare to atv 582, other tv in the house have atv1200 which is also slower than atv 582. The only modification that I made to the box is to external cache movie memory to sd card, This is mod that you have explained on youtube. Regards.

Regards. I have to say that with latest firmware everything is ok. BUT BE CAREFUL WITH GOOGLE PLAY KODI 15 because sound is not in sync with picture. But with mygica edition 14.2 everything is fine. I lost a lot of time to set this little box and I have to say that this is the best expirience for multimedia. Regards
